Instructor accounts can Add, Edit, and Delete Preceptors in their location.
To Add a Preceptor click the Add a User button on your Preceptors page. To Edit a Preceptor, search for them in your list and use the Edit button to update their name and/or email. After editing their information, click Save.
You can notify Preceptors of their updated account by clicking the Reset Account button location beside the Edit button in the Preceptors table (some CompKeepr installations may have a Set Generic Password for the Preceptors instead of the Reset Account button). You can also use the Pending page to send them an email regarding outstanding evaluations.
You can also Delete accounts for staff that no longer work there.
If you see a Remove button instead of Delete, this means the Preceptor has a merged account (they work at two locations). If the email they use is with your location, and you are going to remove them, please let them know their email may no longer work, and they should update their CompKeepr account. If you know your staff work at multiple locations for the same school version of CompKeepr and they would like to merge their CompKeepr accounts, please ask them to contact support.
