Adding Students
To add new students to CompKeepr you must complete the UserTemplate file found on your Add User page (All Users -> Add User button).
CompKeepr will bulk import the students.
Adding other users
School accounts can add users (non-students) at any time (All Users -> Add User button). Instructor accounts can add preceptors for their given area (from their Preceptors page).
Depending on your CompKeepr installation, you will have different User options that appear in your All Users table.
Some additional features that might be added to your All Users table:
Student Year
When students are first added, they will not have a year set on the All Users page. You can filter your All Users list by typing "student" in the search bar, then uses the drop down and 'sync' button to set their year. To Edit the student year, you must use Actions -> Edit to edit the information.
The Year should be set to 'tag' users as a certain clinical or graduation year. When students have been archived, all users for a certain year can be deleted using the Actions button on the Archived Students page, and selecting Delete All Users from ####.
Other additions
Many installations have added their own custom 'tags' to add to students, such as semester, clinical year etc. If you are unsure of the function of these additions, please contact customer support.
